International workshop in the frame of FP7 Cropsustain
On November 24th 2015, International workshop on adaptation of climate change effects in agro ecosystems was organised in Ljubljana by Agicultural Institute of Slovenia in the frame of FP7 Cropsustain. His excellency, the French Ambassador in Slovenia and numerous international experts in the field of agriculture and environment took part at the workshop.
Experts discussed recent research findings of the knowledge on the effects of climate change on the environment, focusing on agriculture. IzVRS team presented the objectives and results of BeWater project especially the participatory approach in adaptation to impacts of climate changes.
The last part of the workshop was devoted to reviewing the situation in the negotiations and presentation of expectations before the upcoming 2015 Paris Climate Conference (COP21).
