Water: drops of life
On the occasion of the World Water Day, celebrated on March 22nd, the Water Supply Department of Cyprus organized the event “Water: drops of life”. The event was part of a water consciousness campaign, aiming to raise awareness about water related issues in Cyprus among society.
Preschool and primary education students presented activities associated with water, which had been prepared in advance with the guidance of their teachers; including science games, painting, theatrical play and songs. The whole event was broadcasted live for two hours from the CyBC radio show "Kids on Air".
Dissemination material regarding the BeWater project was delivered to participants that attended the event.
BeWater was represented at the event by Consortium partners The Cyprus Institute.
