Raising Awareness in Vipava

A suggestions box located next to the roll-up banner exposition allowed visitors to give feedback and share new ideas. The exhibition ran until the 10th of December, after which it was transferred to the Local Crafts Chamber at Ajdovscina and the premises of the Institute for Water of the Republic of Slovenia (IzVRS) in Ljubljana.

The Vipava CSRB also held a Mobile Exhibition at key venues in critical communities throughout the river basin, accompanied by open events. During January-March 2015 the exhibition was held at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food (in cooperation with the Ministry for the Environment and Spatial Planning) in Ljubljana and later on at the premises of the Town Halls of Ajdovščina, Vipava and Miren-Kostanjevica. Moreover, BeWater was presented to the broader public in the two-day event “Primorski vodni dnevi” held in Pinta Conference Hall, Casino and Hotel Perla.

In April 2015, Vipava CSRB continued with a Mobile Exhibition at key venues in critical communities throughout the river basin. In the first half of April 2015, the exhibition was held at the premises of Municipality Šempeter-Vrtojba. As part of the awareness campaign, the Vipava CSRB presented the BeWater project and organised field trip to the river basin for students of Biotechnical Secondary School Nova Gorica on 15 April 2015.

Through the summer months, Vipava CSRB held an exhibition with the project’s roll-up banners at the two premises of the central public library called “Lavričeva knjižnica Ajdovščina” in Ajdovščina and Vipava. Mobile Exhibition was hosted from 23 July to 31 August in the library in Ajdovščina and from 1 to 30 September 2015 in the library in Vipava.
